The Contest, as described above, is a skill-based game in which a user’s success is based primarily on their superior knowledge of cricket, player statistics, knowledge, analysis of players’ relative form, players’ performance in a specific territory, conditions, and/or format, attention and dedication to the Contest, and skill in playing the Contest, and is thus legal in India, save for the following exceptions. Each user recognizes and accepts that they are engaging in a skill game by entering this Contest. Because of the powers conferred by the Indian Constitution, the states of Orissa, Telangana, Assam, Nagaland, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, and Sikkim have passed laws prohibiting users from participating in skill games, and CricStox does not allow residents of those states to participate in or use the services provided by its Platform.
